HUNDREDS of budding ballet stars took to the stage to showcase their hard work.
Starz Ballet, which runs classes across Hampshire including Westgate School in Winchester, presented its production called In The Starz on Sunday May 15 and Sunday May 22 at the Berry Theater in Hedge End.
Three hundred dance school students aged 6 months to 12 years took the stage through three packed shows in addition to dress rehearsals that day.

Creative Director Lianne Weston-Mommsen, who leads Starz Ballet with Cheryl Dodd, said, “It was absolutely brilliant, it was so enjoyable. We do an annual show which we had to miss last year due to Covid. We did our last performance the weekend before lockdown so we waited a long time to get back on stage.
“Everyone had a great time. Everything went well and all the parents were brilliant. Everyone enjoyed getting back to normal. The team was brilliant too.”
Starz Ballet organizes classes in 20 rooms divided into 70 classes.
