Feel mesmerized by a dusk concert by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at TarraWarra Estate
Treat yourself to a very special sunset concert and dinner at the Yarra Valley winery, TarraWarra Estate. This acclaimed destination will host musicians from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO), with members of the Wind and Brass Sections playing music from Giovanni Gabrieli to Leonard Bernstein. This unique performance will take place on Friday, November 28.

Drive yourself to the magnificent 400-hectare estate or hop on a bus from the Center for the Arts. When you arrive at the cellar, you will listen to a dreamy two-part performance inside the underground cellar door. The evening includes welcome drinks and canapes, plus a three-course dinner with matching wines.
The evening menu will be in line with TarraWarra Estate’s sustainable food philosophy. Expect the finest produce from the vegetable gardens and local vendors in the Yarra Valley.
During the intermission of the performance, guests will be served a TarraWarra Roussanne Marsanne Viognier, accompanied by canapés. After the second performance, as the sun begins to set, visitors will settle into the restaurant for a seasonal dinner accompanied by wine.
Menu highlights include:
- Sydney Rock Oyster with Pepperberry Reseda
- Arancini cheese and pepper
- Apple, macadamia jam and daikon
- Spring vegetable risotto with yuzu kosho and garden herbs
- Beef short rib with black garlic mash, shallots and salsa verde
- Macadamia tart, koji caramel and tonka bean ice cream
This event costs $220 per person for the concert and dinner. If you take the bus, it will cost you $250, leaving at 4:30 p.m. from the Center des arts. The event will start at 6 p.m. and the bus will leave the cellar at 9:30 p.m.
